Three criminals accused of lobbing a grenade at a police post in Punjab's Gurdaspur have suffered injuries in an encounter with police in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit. The gunfight between the three criminals and a joint team of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab police took place last night. The injured criminals -- Gurwinder Singh, Virendra Singh and Jasanpreet Singh -- have been hospitalised. Two rifles of the AK series and as many Glock pistols have been recovered from them. Police are yet to be confirm if these criminals are linked to any terrorist organisation and this angle is being probed.
