#1 Saif Ali Khan was allegedly stabbed four times by an intruder, who barged in his Mumbai house. The incident took place around 2.30 am on Thursday. The actor is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. The actor is out of danger now, the hospital staff confirmed. Police has started the investigation and an FIR against an intruder has been lodged at the Bandra Police Station. An intruder sneaked into Saif Ali Khan's house while he was sleeping. A scuffle broke out between the actor and the intruder after he attempted to barge in, confirmed Police. Later, the intruder allegedly stabbed Saif Ali Khan four times and fled the crime scene. Three attendants, who work in Saif Ali Khan's house, are being interrogated by Police. An attendant was reportedly injured during the scuffle. As per initial investigation, one intruder is suspected behind the attack. An official statement has been issued by Saif Ali Khan's team. It read, "There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan's residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing a surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation." Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and their sons rang in the New Year celebrations in Switzerland. The actor and his family returned to Mumbai last week. On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Devara Part 1 alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth Meka, Tom Shine Chacko, and Narain. The film was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. |
