A team of Mumbai Police visited the residence of YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as the BeerBiceps Guy, following the controversy surrounding his comments on comedian Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent'.
Multiple complaints have been filed against 31-year-old Allahbadia, who had apologised on Monday after massive backlash.
A case has also been filed against other contestants on the show, including Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija, known as the 'Rebel Kid' on social media.
The episode featuring the comments by Ranveer Allahbadia has been taken down on YouTube and a Parliamentary panel on information technology is discussing whether to summon the podcaster.
