IPL 2025 Mega Auction LIVE Updates

: Shreyas Iyer has become the most expensive player in the history of IPL with PBKS bagging him for Rs 26.75 crore. Earlier, Arshdeep Singh was the first player to be sold in IPL 2025 Auction, that too by RTM card, at Rs 18 crore. The auction will be held in this order: Marquee Sets, Capped Batters, All-Rounders, Wicketkeepers, Capped Bowlers. The final set on Day 1 will feature the first Uncapped Players set. The auction is being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There is a high possibility that the Rs 25-crore ceiling might be broken this time. Pant, Iyer and Arshdeep are listed in the first set of marquee players that will feature on Day 1 of the auction, while the second includes Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj.
