 Steve Smith brought up a sensational 34th Test ton, and consecutive hundreds against India, oozing class and confidence to take Australia past 450 in the morning session on Day 2 of the fourth Test in Melbourne. Smith also inched closer towards the milestone of 10,000 Test runs. India looked hapless in the outfield, and were only gifted a wicket as Pat Cummins tried to take the bowling on. He fell just one run short of his own half-century. Australia added 143 runs in 27 overs in the first session, and took complete control of the game.
