 Yashasvi Jaiswal holds one end together as Australia force their way back into the game with the quick dismissals of Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, and Nitish Kumar Reddy. The game seemed to be heading towards a draw after India didn't lose a single wicket in the second session. But three quick dismissals in the third session turned the game in Australia's favour. Earlier, India suffered early setbacks with the failure of veterans Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. It was Pat Cummins who picked Rohit's wicket, handing his counterpart an unwanted record. In the same over, Cummins then dismissed Rahul for a duck. Mitchell Starc emerged as big wicket-taker for Australia later on, removing Kohli by inviting him to drive a 6th stump delivery. By Lunch, India had lost three wickets for just 33 runs while chasing 340. (
