India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bowl against England in the second T20I in Chennai. The hosts are playing with two changes but Mohammed Shami. Washington Sundar and Dhruv Jurel are the new faces in the playing XI, replacing Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh who have been forced to go out of the team due to their respective injuries. While Nitish will miss the remaining of the T20I series against England, Rinku is out for the second and third games. Hosts India are 1-0 up in the series after winning the first T20I by 7 wickets.
