Fellow India star Yashasvi Jaiswal also fell cheaply, getting out on five. Rohit Sharma, who is marking his return to Ranji Trophy after a hiatus of almost ten years, struggled against the movement and bounce early on, and perished after a loose shot led to a top edge, giving the opposition an easy catch. Mumbai suffered a monumental collapse, getting reduced to 47/7, as Ajinkya Rahane departed for 12, Shreyas Iyer for 11 and Shivam Dube for a duck. (
