 Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant look to rescue India after veterans Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul departed early. India suffered a bitter blow right before lunch when Kohli departed by edging a delivery into the hands of the slips. Earlier, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul also departed cheaply, for 9 and 0 respectively. It was Pat Cummins who picked Rohit's wicket, handing his counterpart an unwanted record. In the same over, Cummins then dismissed Rahul for a duck. Mitchell Starc emerged as big wicket-taker for Australia later on, removing Kohli by inviting him to drive a 6th stump delivery. By Lunch, India had lost three wickets for just 33 runs while chasing 340. (
