If a government employee unknowingly joined MLM bussiness and later after knowing about the government rule(no public servant shall indulge in any bussiness activity) he left that MLM business without doing any trade or commerce or gaining any profit. Will he get any punishment if anybody filed a case against him or complained about him?
What punishment will he get?

if you are a govt employee, you can't do anything else to generate income. So for India, answer to this question is a clear NO. BUT some people join MLM by the name of his/her wife/husband or mother/father. so on papers, they are not doing MLM but in reality, they do along with govt jobs.
