#1 My Hair Transplant MethodAs discussed various transplsnt methods here showthread-2-33079-hair-transplant-methods.htm I opted the first one. About The Experience at La Densitae Kozhikode BranchI had concerns of doing the best transplant as I do not wanted to take a risk. First of all I opted La Densitae as it is having a good review collection from many of the patients regarding the results. It is around November 2024 the Calicut Branch opened at Eranjippalam, Kozhikode. I wanted to do at Ernakulam first as there is a large crowd who had went for surgery there. But opted the new branch because it is close to me and I connected with the manager at La Densitae who said about there intention. They give good care to their brand an assured me all the supports. Even on the day I asked the doctor about this and she said that they were working at Kochi and I can expect much care here as there is less crowd of patients. She explained that I may be the 150 +th patient. Truely they were very cooperative and caring. The surgery was mostly painless if we can adjust the pain of some injections calmly. For me I had done pre tests which were asked to be done and all tests were safe. I had no diabetes or any other irregularities concerned. So starting the day I reached around 9.31 at the branch. Some formalities were there, then I went to see the doctor around 9.35 and then discussed about the surgery. She told about my requirements which were tested on the day of booking at December 2024. My graft requirement told was 2000 to 2500, then they marked my hairline, they asked whether I like the hairline, I said yes as they are much experienced about all these. I had given the consent for the surgery and moved to surgery, I had mostly obeyed pre surgery treatments and advices. Changed my cloth, trimmed the hair to short fully and moved to surgery room. Both Keralites and Hindi speaking staff were there. They started surgery by giving Anesthesia and first slits were created, then they punched the grafts then implanted it to the area, there were juice time during the surgery and sometimes they put music which I liked. Also a lunch after the surgery. The food and juice tasted nice. Cost of surgery2100 grafts were transplanted at the cost of 30 as per the booking time rate. The saphire blade cost of 20000 Rs. Total cost including GST calculated 83000 Rs. There is EMI, but I paid the cash in total as I don't like liabilities. After surgeryAfter meal and payment again I was guided to Doctor's room and they gave me post surgical medicines and tools as a La Densitae kit as well as the discharge card. They have option to visit the clinic for bandage removal at the donor area day after the next day. As it is difficult to stay, I opted doing it at home. The kit contained medicine s for 7 days, surgical caps and an air neck pillow which can be explanded by blowing and saline water bottles. After all the procedures they booked a taxi and I reached home after 3 hours. Day 1 at homeI followed the instructions. Used Saline water on the implanted area and taken the medicines. The top care should be not to touch the implanted area by anything. No contact should be made. The surgical cap was removed from the back. I am using the neck pillow and handcuffed me while sleeping for avoiding touch unconsciously during sleep. Sleeping still now now is not a problem, I had a sleep. Just woken up for using saline water and drinking water. Day 2 at homeSaline water again used as I woke up during night, drunk some water as well. Since there are tablets avoid dehydration. Tobe continued as the transplant was on 9 April 2025. |
